Colleen started her CrossFit journey at Immense as a member in 2017, after feeling lost in the typical large franchise gym. Initially it was just a place that programmed her workouts, but it quickly evolved into a home-away-from-home. She was drawn to the community and the challenge of CrossFit, and you could almost always find Colleen doing “extra credit” while convincing at least one other person to join her for the next crazy idea. She finally got her Level 1 Trainer certification in 2021 and has enjoyed sharing her passion with other members through coaching each week. Outside of the gym, Colleen is a full-time high school teacher and enjoys doing anything competitive.
