Olympic Weightlifting is a great way to build power, strength, speed and coordination. Weightlifting can be a great stand-alone fitness program but also works well to improve other sports, activities and overall fitness.
There are 2 lifts that are performed in the Olympic sport of Weightlifting. The Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. The demands that these lifts put on the whole body is why they are so effective at improving speed, strength, power and coordination.
We work with a variety of athletes, but have a minimum age of 8. Some have never held a barbell and others have years of experience and want to compete at the local, state and national level.

As owner of 646 Lifting and Head Coach, I would encourage you to email me and let me know what you are looking for in Olympic Weightlifting. Is it just to fine-tune the lifts to be a better Crossfitter? Do you just like to lift and don’t want to compete? Or do you want to be a National Champion and push hard to compete. No matter the answer, lets have a conversation to see if 646 lifting is the right fit for you.
